Emergency Repairs

You may need an emergency repair outside of normal office hours, such as during weekends or in a holiday period. We operate a 24-hour emergency repair service that you can contact by calling: 0300 303 1717 then following the instructions below to help us with your emergency as quickly as possible:

• Give your name and address and tell the operator that you are a Tai Calon Community Housing tenant.
• Explain the problem clearly and in as much detail as possible.
• On taking your call, the operator will, if necessary, report your repair to the appropriate contractor, who will then call at your home.
• Please bear in mind the following points before requesting an emergency callout:
• You should use this number for all repair emergencies, including fire alarm repairs, lift repairs, release of people trapped in lifts.
• You should only use this service in an emergency. If you make any unreasonable use of the service, you maybe recharged the call-out and repair.
• You should only report emergency repairs by telephoning the above number. If you contact a contractor directly and arrange for a repair, we will not accept responsibility for the eventual bill and you will have to pay it yourself.
