Tai Calon are part of a Pan Gwent Social Landlords Anti-Social Behaviour Group where we work with other social landlords in Gwent to create happier communities. At these meetings we discuss a variety of issues, share information about good/best practice and highlight any difficulties. We often work with Gwent Police and Aneurin Bevan Health Board to try and make a difference.
The ASB group contains representatives from Caerphilly County Borough Council, Bron Afon, Monmouthshire Homes, Newport City Homes, Melin Homes, Charter Housing, United Welsh, Linc Cymru and Wales and West as well as Tai Calon.
The Pan Gwent Social Landlords Anti-Social Behaviour Group are in the process of providing training to Gwent Police. The training is for front line uniformed Response and Neighbourhood Police officers to let them know more about social housing. This training should help create safer and protected communities across the Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent county boroughs and further afield.
