Corporate Plan 2020 – 2025

The Plan seeks to broaden the range of Tai Calon’s work and the level of our ambition to deliver great services to our tenants and leaseholders.

The Plan also incorporates our broader role as an anchor institution in Blaenau Gwent, working with partners such as Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council to strengthen the foundational economy and to support more Blaenau Gwent businesses. Furthermore, the Plan also includes our responsibilities to our staff to offer a great place to work and to be a great employer.

The set of organisational values in the plan reflect our ambition for the culture of Tai Calon and we intend to live up to them.

This Plan has been drawn up with extensive consultation and broad support for the new approach.

We will deliver:

Close to our tenants, constantly evolving our services, delivering sustainable and affordable homes.

  • Reduce our carbon emissions, and fuel poverty and improve the energy efficiency of our homes
  • Get the most out of every pound we spend
  • Improve the quality of all our homes
  • Deliver tailored services that meet the needs of the individual

  • Work with partners to improve health and well-being in our communities

  • Use our work to signpost broader public services
