What pets can tenants keep at the property?

Most pets are OK so long as you comply with the tenancy agreement and the property/garden is suitable for the animal’s needs.

Dog Fouling, Barking

The community housing officer can look into this if you are a dog owner and our tenant. However, if you are a private tenant /owner occupier or the matter concerns private land, please get in touch with Environmental Health on 01495 311556 or visit the www.blaenau-gwent.gov.uk/resident/environmental-health/

Cat Fouling

We cannot take action as cats have the “right to roam”, and the owner cannot be held responsible.
