We’ve completed our 2025 STAR survey, with feedback from over 540 tenants providing a clear picture of performance across our services.

Against a backdrop of continued sector-wide pressure and declining satisfaction reported across parts of the social housing sector, Tai Calon is pleased to report that overall satisfaction remains strong and broadly stable compared to previous years.

When benchmarked against other Welsh housing associations, our results continue to perform well, with particularly strong outcomes in:

  • Tenant trust in Tai Calon
  • Feelings of safety and security in the home
  • Engagement and opportunities to have a say (top quartile performance)
  • Repairs and maintenance satisfaction
  • Value for money perceptions

Our Net Promoter Score of 36 also reflects strong tenant confidence and loyalty.

While the overall picture is positive, the survey also highlights clear areas for improvement—most notably around anti-social behaviour response and ensuring all tenants feel consistently heard, supported, and involved in decision-making.

These insights will directly shape our priorities as we continue to strengthen services, improve outcomes, and maintain strong performance relative to our peers.
