Three Community Gardens Now Complete in Blaenau Gwent

Tai Calon, in partnership with Earthwatch Europe and local community groups, is pleased to announce that three community food growing gardens in Blaenau Gwent are now complete.

Located at Hilltop, Cefn Golau and Coed Cae in Nantyglo, the gardens have been developed to provide welcoming spaces where residents can grow their own food, learn new skills and connect with others in their community.

Each site includes facilities such as raised beds, poly tunnels, outdoor learning areas, water storage and composting, supporting sustainable food growing and community activity.

The completion of all three gardens marks an important milestone, creating opportunities for residents to get involved, support their wellbeing and make the most of shared green spaces across the borough.

Residents of all experience levels are encouraged to take part, with sessions and activities planned throughout the year.
