Since we launched a new service called Lifft in 2017, it has gone from strength to strength. Provided by our expert team of Support Workers who help people to live full and independent lives. The Team has helped many individuals with various housing and financial issues.

The Lifft Team consists of six support workers. The team’s expanded client base now includes people over 16 from a wider range of housing situations, all of whom are welcome to access the service through referrals, including self-referrals.

Team support focuses on several areas, including housing-related support, which involves helping clients pay bills, arranging direct debits, and assisting with budgeting and financial issues. The team also helps clients identify and apply for appropriate benefit entitlements and understand the terms of their tenancy.

In addition to these services, the Lifft Team also help clients access various funds and benefits such as Discretionary Assistance Fund Payments, Direct Housing Payments, Personal Independence Payments/Appeals, Tai Calon Hardship Fund Applications, Food Bank Vouchers, Housing Benefit applications, and Universal Credit claims.

“Our Lifft Team is here to provide practical support to individuals facing housing-related issues and financial difficulties,” said Anthony Rowson – Supported Housing Team Leader. “We understand that people can find themselves in difficult situations, and our aim is to provide them with the support they need to overcome these challenges and move forward with their lives.”

The Lifft Team is yet another example of our commitment to supporting and empowering the communities we serve.
