This section of the website aims to provide you with a range of helpful information about your tenancy, rights, and responsibilities.

Tai Calon provides a repair and maintenance service that ensures your water, electricity and heating are all working correctly and safely. We keep your home wind and water-tight, as well as improve it’s energy efficiency. Helping to save money and reduce harmful carbon emissions that contribute to climate change.

We also deal with things that can impact your health; our Be safe in your home section covers these in more detail.

Your responsibilities include being a good tenant and neighbour, keeping your home and garden in good order, and carrying out any necessary minor jobs. This includes decorating, minor plaster repair, clearing wastes and gullies. Our “Who is Responsible for repairs” page explains these in more detail.

Who is Responsible for Repairs?

The rent you pay goes towards helping us repair and maintain your home. It is important to understand who is responsible for repairs and maintenance to your home.
